From finance to the classroom
Before entering education, he built a finance career working with Merrill Lynch in London and Scotiabank in Canada. After arriving in Canada in 2003, he transitioned into education in 2009, teaching business, marketing and hospitality in the Vancouver area, including at the University of British Columbia and University Canada West. Over 17 years, he has inspired thousands of students and guided founders and C-suite leaders in EdTech, FinTech and MedTech.
As a Richmond resident since 2009, community volunteer and parent whose daughter studied in the Richmond School District for 12 years, he is running for School Trustee with priorities including stronger education, career and technology opportunities, and AI literacy. His mission is to bring more freedom, security and peace to Canadian families and communities — rooted in the belief that education changes lives, and strong schools create stronger futures.
