From academia to the Web3 frontier
His foundation combines technology with marketing. He holds a Master's in Marketing, specialising in International Marketing, from the University of Exeter Business School, where he was recognised for Outstanding Contribution to the PG Experience. He also completed a B.Tech CSE (Hons.) with a Minor in Marketing Management from Lovely Professional University. His interest in marketing and emerging ideas was visible early — he published a paper exploring the future of mobile marketing and its impact on marketing strategy.
His work spans growth, GTM, D2C, B2B, partnerships, sales and global expansion. Across his Web3 journey, Akhil has built more than 50 strategic ecosystem partnerships, onboarded global resellers and 70+ influencers, and helped build and scale communities from zero to more than 40,000 members. Among his career highlights are scaling multiple Web3 companies from scratch and generating 20,000+ waitlist signups in one month for a Web3 project. He also co-founded a marketing agency that served more than 50 clients.
Beyond building businesses, Akhil is also a speaker, author and writer. He shares insights on marketing, startups, AI, Web3 and emerging technology, while his writing covers business, technology and new ideas. That combination of technology, marketing and curiosity about what comes next has continued throughout his professional work across startups and the Web3 ecosystem.
